Thanks for looking everybody. This knife is sold.

Bishop, If you're interested in something similar give me a call and we can work something out. I don't think I ever want to do a blue blade again but this style knife is one of my favorites and I make a few of them each year.

Jason you are one hell of a knife maker. That is just plain awesome. I dig seeing your work and I never get enough of it. I'd like to shake your hand some day man, and that's one lucky new owner. Way to go! And thanks for letting me (it was just for me, right?) see this one. :D

The new owner is going to be VERY happy with this one.... ;) You'll see, Dave...

Coop

Coop did you snag this one? You lucky dog! I've always said your taste was pretty much right on and I was right. :D

Daniel, Nick Wheeler blued the blade for me in his Nitre-salt setup. The screws were heat blued by me :p

I think I pissed off about everybody I know with this knife. "Hey check this out I just finished it. Nooo! Don't touch the blade! I don't want your greasy fingerprints all over it!"
I'm pretty proud of it and enjoy showing it off but the first thing anyone wants to do is rub their fingers all over the blade or try to cut something! It's enough to drive a guy crazy.

Dave, you're welcome to shake my hand anytime bud :D I must say you make some pretty awesome stuff yourself.
If I paid for it would you be willing to part with that knife you've got long enough for Coop to photograph it? I lost all my photo's of it when my computer crashed at the same time as bladeforums went down. I hadn't gotten around to making prints yet :(

And again I'd like to thank you all for the kind words.

Jason ordinarily I'd be happy to send that knife to Coop - but I got a little short of Christmas cash and sold it for $2,000. Sorry man.

I'm such a jerk! Who are you kidding?! I wouldn't sell that knife for $2,005! Of course I'll send it to him. I'll get it out next week.

:D

Cool, thanks Dave. Next week might be a bit premature though. I can't afford it until my house sells. I'm pretty broke right now :( shouldn't be more than another couple weeks though. I'll call you one of these days soon and we can run up my phone bill again :D

That sounds great Jason. You get moved, maybe we can meet in Nebraska sometime for a little hangin out. I know, I know - you'll be working all the time. But maybe some day, eh? Good luck getting your house sold and with the move.

Dave go ahead and send me whatever. Jason and I will work it out.

Coop
