NJ guys, edc..

Currently, I got this A.G Russell Grandad's Toothpick at the recommendation of some people here. It's been treating me really well, even better when I sweeten up the edge. In the past few years, I have edc'd most major knife brands. my favorite is Wenger Standard Issue Knife, basically a SAK Solider with a bail. It's the one that I use all the time.

It's a great knife. This might not be politically correct on a knife forum, to tell you the truth, I have used my pocketknife less than 10 times for a good purpose in the past 6 years. However, I do spend about at least an hour playing with it a day. The Wenger has turned out to be the most usefully knife that I own.

Haha, I totally agree. Hey, is the awl on your really super stiff? I tried WD40 on it, and its still not getting any better.

Actually, I am technically in Central Jersey - Burlington County. But having grown up in Edison, I think of anything south of Trenton as "uncivilized South Jersey".

Who is this LaBella character that you speak of? I always EDC a Schrade stockman in my pocket. and sometimes a Buck 110 on my belt or a Buck Alpha Dorado in my other pocket. Just picked up a Buck Sirus that I've carried a few times... not sure if the assisted opener is 'frowned upon' by the law, yet.

Oh yea, I'm in Gloucester county. It's like the wild, wild freakin' west down here:D .

Last time I traveled through NJ, heading down south, I carried only 2 knives on my person, a Vic Spartan and a Buck 373 Stockman. I had a few other knives (all blades sub 4" and some fishing tackle) in my locked lugage- I was going to get in some fishing while on vacation. I was very careful in deciding what to bring considering that was traveling through NYC and NJ.

The awl on my Wenger sees the most use, been using it since summer of 04. When I first got it, the awl was such a pain to get open, but now it's just right. I don't know if this is a super idea, but use the screwdriver/bottle cap to pry some stuff lightly with it. It with loosen up the awl a bit.
