NJ Knife Laws

Can anyone tell me the knife laws for NJ? I've read the Levine site, but still unclear on if Assisted openers are legal. Also is there blade length restrictions in different cities of NJ?

Assisted openers ARE LEGAL. as far as blade length goes I have no idea. I have been told alot of different lengths by many different people(local cops, state troopers, guys at the sporting goods store). Nobody really seems to know the answer to that.
 
New Jersey state law restricts minors to knives with 5" blades/10" overall length. No adult blade length restrictions. Especially if the knife is for an obvious legitimate activity, like when you're hunting or fishing, it won't be a problem.

NJ is not hysterical about knives like NYC. Some cities may have length restrictions. I'm not real interested in going to most NJ cities so I don't know. :)
