Hello All,
I just got back from the NKCA show in Kentucky and it was great! The Buck Collectors club members did us proud! Is it proper Forum etiquette to brag? Let me know cause if it is, I would like to let you all know about the awards these folks won!

By all means, do brag, we'd love to hear about it.

I agree...I was there for all three days and there were some very impressive Buck Knives display's. The one I found most interesting was a large display of Buck's Custom knives...Had one's I never knew were out there. I also got Chuck to sign a blade for me while there...Its one knife I wont be selling!

Ok,
Better late than never right?
Heres what went on at the show.
We had 23 members show up and display. We also had several others there just looking. I am proud to report that 12 members won awards for their displays! We won Best of show and four judges awards. Best Custom display went to Buckcustom of this forum!
We held a members meeting and just had a blast!
Every member who brought a display received an engraved model 470 Mentor with a stag handle specially made by Wilde Bill Cody. Chuck Buck ended up signing each of them too.

I can't wait until the next show!

Wow, that is very cool indeed. Guess I'll have to hunker down and get a little more serious about my collecting!!
Sounds like a great time, thanks for the update, Joe.
