NMFBM Bowie

This use to be a CGNMFBM. It came to me with a already decent satin. I just changed it up a bit by changing the blade shape to a longer version of the FBM Proto. I then reconvexed the whole blade and flattened out the tang and ricasso. Put on my frosty satin, sharpened top swedge, and polished out the edges. Finished it with a little touch of orange liners on the handles.

Looks like a FBM Bowie Prototype mated with a Jungle Assault! Awesome work as usual man.

"flattened out the tang"

Do you have a surface grinder now? How do you thin the whole blade? Have you ever drilled holes in the handle to lighten the knife and improve it's balance?

btw, those are really nice pics, as well. :thumbup:
