I could be wrong here but I think the NMFBM CG had a convex grind with a V edge applied and the NMFBM LE was fully convexed right to the edge .... but whichever way .... there is no massive difference in terms of sabre grind v convex grind .... the benefits of a convex edge over a V edge are a little more noticeable in terms of how long they can stay sharp .... especially if you have a high or acute V edge ... a more robust obtuse V edge does last a bit longer but is not quite as sharp at the beginning.
I stripped my CG model straight away and took the convex grind to the edge as per the LE version .... so I am not entirely sure if the CG had a sabre grind ....
Thanks for the reply
I Didnt word my question very well because I was talking about the grind on the Bushwacker mistress LE, BWM LE. I was pretty tired, thats my excuse
I've seen another review you did on the BWM LE, where you said it is probably destined to become your favourite Busse, and were loving it so much you forgot to take pictures, lol. That review was enough for me to go ahead and get one, as long as my government allows it into the country! That's England just incase you have any insight.
The busse website says the BWM LE has a saber grind, but I think it will be sufficient for what I want to use it for.
Cheers
