I will never forget the FBM proto from that show..

That is the sickest FBM ever made no matter what flavor..

The NMFBM seems like its gona be a whole different beast ..

I agree, that's the best FBM of all. :thumbup:
I wasn't used to Busse's popularity at the time and didn't buy one the first day.
Came back the next day to get one and they were gone. :(

Yes, I was fortunate enough to score one in the past week.:eek: It is on hold and I am saving up for it as we speak... It is OD/black G10
I'm sure this is going to be on the list of my top 3 Busse s..

And yes it will get a proper beating...

Oh yeah, I remember those.. they're very nice. I love the front end on them.. I hope the NMFBM looks kinda like that.

If the NMFBM isn't satin or double cut, I won't be getting one. :(
Nothing against coated blades for those who like them but, from now on it's satin, double cut, or nothing for me.

I may have made a slight tactical error at work today.

As some of you know, I work for the federal government. National security and all that.

So ... what with the new and exciting Nuclear Mammoth FBM just announced ... I was naturally unable to completely contain myself for one entire workday (12 hrs for me).

I kept mumbling "Beast from the East" ...

Now I see several SPOT alerts going out on this topic. :(:o Apparently, the younger troops (kids) may be putting a little too much faith in the 'old guy.' :eek:

I've no idea how I'm going to talk my way out of this one tomorrow. Hopefully, we will stop short of carpet bombing Wauseon.



[If that should happen ... I'm hoping Jaxx or maybe Cobalt would be willing to throw themselves across the CNC machines. You know ... just for one salvo. I'm sure I'll get the new SPOT out by then. :)]

In that way of thinking, then it may be safe to say that NONE of them are "real protos"... They could have all most likely just been cut from blanks before each Ganza that were probably already marked prototype or prototype FBM.
Ya think Jerry just happened to have 30+ FBM protos of EACH handle color just sitting around the Shop with satin finishes & the handles on & everything since before the FBM was offered? (JERRY, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here! :thumbup:) Do ya think Jerry would pull a fast one on us and have regular FBM blanks STAMPED "prototype"?? Also, Just me talkin' here... But every Busse prototype... REAL prototype I've ever seen has been sterile except the mean street fatty... It had a Busse Combat logo on it, but not "prototype". Personally, I say "whatever". If it says PROTOTYPE, it's good enough for me. Bowie or Bullet Tip (spearpoint), They are all WICKED FBM's. The spearpoints do seem to be more popular, but the Bowie version ain't too shabby!

Cool, looking forward to seeing this new monster FBM :thumbup:Though I'm not really looking forward to living off noodles and water so I can pay for several of them :p

I just say real one because those were the first FBM protos released. The entire profile of the blade seemed much different from a normal FBM. Not to metion the bullet point is bad ass.

The next release seemed like more of a gimmick to me. It just appeared like a clip point/recurve and the big letters prototype was slaped on a normal FFBM.. That blade is not for me..

Also I think the original FBM proto is a lot more useful in the field than that recurve .
