I've been using my NMFBM around the yard too. That knife is DANGEROUS! Gotta be super careful with that sucker, especially with the factory edge, cant come in at too sharp an angle or it'll glance off, had a few close calls.

Yes, it is 0.250 with the 11.5" blade, however it feels a great deal heavier then the 8" x 0.250 NMSFNOLE. More machete then knife in my book (not that there is anything wrong with that).
