I have a tan handled NMFBM bought a few years ago and stripped the blade. I have used it a couple times with no noticeable wear or nicks. Great knife, I just never use it.
There is a small blemish/indent just under the tip that is from the factory. It was only when I stripped off the paint that it became noticeable.
I also have an open spine Buy Brown black kydex sheath with Tek Lock for it.
