NMFBM vs. NMFBMLE

I've owned a CG. I loved it. I sold it and bought an LE to USE

The LE is really unlike any knife I've ever handled. It is a sheer joy to use. I've begun to acquire the skill for finer work with it. The zero grind of the LE bites deeper than the CG I owned and keeps an edge well.

Because I've owned them at different times, I can't do a clear comparison at all, in part because LE was, and is my grail. I sort of feel the LE "completes me" ;). That said, I do really think it is a better overall performer. Though I've read accounts of the LE being to much blade for some that prefer the CG, I don't have any such issues.

I do wish I'd kept the CG just for comparative purposes though.

I agree - Only in my case, I bought one of each from the beginning, and used both, at the same time, and sold the CG! The LE was that much better. I use it all the time, and because it was that awesome, I bought another one! I only buy a duplicate in rare occasions, when warranted, and this was one of those times! I could talk for hours about it, but it truly is in my humble opinion the BEST Jerry has ever made - it is an inspired piece of cutlery.

NMFBMLE's... Ya can't beat 'em. One to use:
...And 6 more locked up in the safe! ;)

One of the rarest LE's offered in one of the shortest runs in Busse's recent history...And one of the best choppers out there!!:thumbup:

...And then there's THIS really rare animal...

Hey Jaxx!
I wonder where number 11 is? ;)

It had better be with you, man! ...one of the reasons I chose to skip over it is that 11 is your number! ;)

Hope to see you at BLADE again... :) You coming?

Kinda like asking do you want Macallin 18 or 12 - If you never tated the 18, the 12 is fine...and so is yo pocket ;)

The CG NMFBM is a bad MF chopper - for $400 more you may not be able to tell the difference in the LE

I have an LE and an extra combat just in case one of my real friends brings some Mac 18 :D

on a serious note, that sucks about the economy and your job...

on a lighter note, will you sell me your chuckette?;)

At the top is the Dragon's Fang and I believe "Chuckette" is second from the top. If you go to advanced search on the search thread and look for Moab you'll find it at the bottom of the first page with a Moab for sale. I happened to stumble on it. NASTY !!! Sorry--haven't mastered how to upload one big pic-they always come out as thumbnails. Check Jaxx' post below this one !!

I'm sure there's got to be a quicker way, but if you double-click the thumbnail, it'll open in a separate window. Copy the URL and paste it in your post with IMG tags around it... :) The thumbnail will still be there, but so will a full size image.
