Hurricane Ike's a comin. Sure glad I got one of those big hackers to clean up the trees. I'll drink, probably all night. The wind is howling at 75 mph+ right now and he's not even here yet.

My birthday is the 22nd. So this is a nice present. Can't wait to get this one. Who will be making leather sheaths for this beast?

Keep your head down during the storm and best wishes. We need pics of your NMFBM during the clean up. Just don't hack into those long black things attached to the creosote trunks with no limbs. It could be a shocker.

Being fron Florida I am sure you understand lights out. The Keys seem to get flogged several times a year. But I heard they have good rum down there.

Yep, the Keys do get hit often. Fortunatly, I lost power in 2004 for only about 1 hour during all the hurricanes that rolled through Florida.

There is about 1/2 million withought lights right now. Ours have flickered a couple of times but so far so good. Big Ike is here.
