NMFSH-LE -- Will you use it and for what?

Since I already have an FBM LE user with magnum handles, I would buy and use the heck out of this NMFSH LE if I could get it with standard thickness scales for it to have the same grip as a CGFBM with mags, but I was told that isn't an option. 'Tis a shame. :(

Hey Tim, I've experimented with hand sanding the scales on one of my NMFBMs and had great success with it. Why not just sand the magnums down to where you want them?

It's a lot of money to tie up in a redundant user since I already sanded down my FBMLE enough to make it work and I've still got some hefty unreleased blade scores to settle up on when the time comes.
Fred, I hope you get to use your coupon on one of the LE's ;)

would you all agree this knife is pure chopper, too long for eyebrow shaving and other fine tasks (like cutting up a big old steak)?

The closest thing to a chopper that I own is a NMSFNO.

Not necessarily pure chopper if you have in mind improvements for the task in hand.

I will try and buy one and it will probably sit in the safe until I find another gun that I can't live without, and then it will be sent to the exchange......I am excited about getting in on the ground floor on a blade design that is my favorite so far......I have had FFBM's, NMFBM's, KZ's,...and nothing fits my hands as well as a .32 blade with mag handles. That is why the HHFSH and the FSH are my favorites. They ballance the best in my hands....I have been late to the party on most of the other big choppers and have had to live on the exchange to find what I want, but they have always been at a premium. Now if I can get knife straight from Busse on the original offer I will feel better about paying 650 now as apposed to 800 later....
