Yeah, most of the time when I say Academi people get this blank look on their face and I have to tell them it's Blackwater. Thanks man.

Often it's for "the best" that people are unaware of things. There's a lot of politics, opinions, etc. on all of this stuff from War to contractors and so on...

I stay out of debates and issues and just say thanks to folks like yourself that do what needs done.

I use a retractable pistol lanyard for my belt knife when canoeing. It works great!

Now, the only problem is I can't find the darned thing since my last trip.

Yeah, I would cry if I lost it getting out of a vehicle or whatever. It was either use my pistol lanyard or strap my leather sheath on my IBA.

Finished working on my mag carrier. Now the whole thing clips on and off and i can keep it tighter than when it had straps. The trade off is my knife is not quite as quickly accessed but it is pretty well hidden.
