NMSFNO scar?

My TGLB had the same thing, I believe it wasn't perfectly lined up on the CNC from one side to the other. It definitely isn't a crack or "casting" flaw. Just both sides didn't line up exactly when it was machined.
Any pictures?

I recently bought an old NMSFNO with stripped coating and I wonder about the furrow/line running on the back of the blade. Where could it have come from? From cutting blank? This is the first time I've seen something like this on a Busse knife.

That is a mill mark made by a one-sided corner rounder many moons ago.

We didn't use the one-sided rounders for very long. . . . And now you can see why!

Send that bad boy into Garth's attention and we'll blend it out for you.

Thanks,

Jerry

Thank you Jerry for resolve this mistery. I'll consider sending option however this mill mark gives some character to this beautiful classic blade🙂
I can tell you that VERY few were ever made with that process!

The ones that were made like this received a light hand-blending in the Crab Shack prior to coating.

This one, apparently, received the ultra-light hand blending which involves too much alcohol, and putting the grinding belt on upside down!!!

Jerry😁
