Comments on these pics are welcome. This is about my 16th knife that I have put full effort into, and feel like is good enough to be saleable. It is also the first one I did actual boltsters on--the handle scales are a 'seashell' scale that a friend sent me from China--he doesn't know much about them, he just felt like I would like them and be able to use them--I did, and I feel like it made a nice knife. This is also the 3rd or 4th knife that I attempted the 'Brut de Forge' approach, which I actually like the way it came out on this. I am interested if you folks feel like I got the blade out of proportion to the handle--it feels like the handle is just a tiny bit small--not feels but looks...anyway here are some pics.

i think it is worthy of selling. that hard part is deciding the price. i do agree the handle is a wee bit short.

Thanks fella's, do either of you think I should maybe go in and try to scale the blade down a little bit--or do I just chalk this one up to experience and see if somebody might like/take it as is?

Looks good, maybe a little short for me in the handle, but the blade to handle ratio looks good to me, just need someone with smaller hands.

Does it feel good in your hands? If it does, it certainly would to someone else.

I'd say it certainly looks sellable to me! My only critique would be to put some sort of makers mark on it

Yeah JB, it actually feels good to me--I wear a medium-large golf glove and it fits me pretty good. And yes you are right I need to get my mark on there, just haven't done that yet--that's one of the very last things I do.

Thanks for ya'lls input.

Looks good.

As for the handle, someone with wee hands will be thrilled.

I have gorilla hands and like my handles between 4.25 and 4.5 inches on most knives

Thanks Hengelo and AVigil, Avigil I am thinking someone will see it against the tape and figure it will work for them, or pick it up at one of the craft shows I plan on exhibiting some of my knives at. It really feels good to me--but I think I need to be more pragmatic about getting my handles to be like a 4.25" size perhaps plus or minus 1/4"

Thanks for the feedback fella's.
