Dave what a cracker.
I can see you have taken the flavour or Lloyds handle style and spiced it up to your own. Lloyd was a very generous man always giving of his knowledge and time to new makers. I was lucky enough to see the look on his face when he saw a knife he liked.
I can imagine him now sitting back in his chair running his fingers over the lines of the knife with true joy in his face. "Ah beauty"
That was in the Australian sence as in beauty mate.
You have done yourself proud with this fine knife and it is a wonderfull tribute to Lloyd.
As a co incidence Caroline is printing off some Cd covers today I will be giving the Cd's to his son and daughter in the next few weeks and asking permission to give them away to students at our knife classes.
With your permission I would like to add your knife to the CD to show how well a style can be refined to complement the original but also take on the makers own style.
