There was a facebook post from prepared mind saying ethan said the becker kukri was not going to be there. Has anybody heard anything about this?

Um......that guys an idiot. The Kukri's are just not ready to be sold yet and it is still gonna be a little while before they hit the market. Meaning Ka-bar will not be selling them there.

All he's whining about is that he wont be able to get one. Ugh.

I have no doubt that the prototypes and a few of the finished blades are going to be there for everyone to see, touch, and photograph.

Please, let's quit bringing that guy cause he makes my blood boil with disgust. I can't believe half of the crap he has pulled and gotten away with and still has followers.

Can I have some examples?

Man, I really don't want to get into it again on here because it has all been brought up before and I don't want to say stuff that may be out of line.

But many, many Beckerheads here will back me up on this cause that Dude has done a lot of stuff to piss a lot of people off.

If you're on FB, just follow the KA-BAR page for updates and news you can trust.

Like has been said, I'm sure protos will be there. None will be available for sale or as gifts, but SHOT isn't a sales event anyway.

Hey Guys.....

KA-BAR has a new policy that, after sober reflection, I think makes a lot of sense....... If it ain't in the box, in the shipping department, it will not be shown at shows....... Nothing good comes from getting everybody jacked up and then let down due to unforeseen circumstances.......Manufacturing is FULL of unforeseen circumstances......... I have been pretty bad about this...... As you all know, I get pretty enthused about new stuff with the BK&T logo on it....... I WANT to share........ So no Kukri at SHOT....It will come as soon as possible......

Soon dammit, soon.....

Ethan

No worries boss,

We are all just as enthused as you are about the release of your new baby and can't wait to hold them in our hands. Even if it means waiting a little bit longer. It just gives us more time to get acquainted with our current, and new tools ;)

After handling and using it here at the house, I must say it is truly worth the wait. I like it better than the original.

Sounds like a good move on the part of Kabar. The outrage on the Tweener release was almost comical (from the outside looking in).

You risk getting a Keltec like reputation if you're always releasing mythical products.

Waiting just means I'll have to spend the money set aside for it on other knives now. (see, there is an upside to a delayed release)

...and set aside new money to patiently wait for the release.
