I guess I have a HI combat Khukri tugged away in the sleeve, but it might also be just a Vic Mountaineer .. :D

DeadeyeLefty, the duration of the trips varied. Usually we go up, find a place to bivouac a couple of days, and try to do some routes or summits.
Sometimes we make a round trip.. everything from 2 to 10 days. You can't carry more when you're selfsupporting.
 
Now that's a good example of a place where you don't 'need' your knife for chopping things with. :D

Beautiful pictures. Love the Alps - just wish they were closer.
 
That evening walk picture looks like something off a sci fi novel cover, awesome!!. Is that picture "as shot" or has it been tweaked in photoshop?
