Saw this book at a book shop recently. The title really caught my interest. I believe it has something to do with Gurkhas during the Second World War.

LOL, yeah, I saw that title on Amazon just now when I ordered his book "Gurkhas at War" in their own words.
Probably not the best title for the book...

Heh Heh...

Looks like this phrase and variations have been in use for some time. I can remember giving and receiving similar phrases used to describe someone with ...err... less than complementary beauty. Wonder if it originated locally or some spark of creativity by a commonweath trooper during the conflict...
