No duds here!

I like this picture very much. Maybe this would make it easier for some to tell the color? How hard could it possibly be? :D

That there is yella or yeller as some folks say. ;)

Oh, and you are most welcome Jennifer. I will ship it Monday for her and then both you and Primble can make your Optometrist appointments.:D

Might be helpful. Just to clarify for everyone, these are not blue or teal.

Those are all gorgeous knives! I hope eventually I can build up my traditional collection to more than a single piece hah.

Shhh. Don't tell Primble, but when you see this little beauty in person, it really isn't baby blue. I'll never openly admit it, but it is more teal in color.

Some of you may remember that Jone (Jennifer) won/slam dunked the mystery question GAW and I mailed her Calypso Blue Russlock to her last week.

Today - as I was about to leave for my morning walk, I heard the front storm door shut and went to see what mail I had for the day. I have a slot in my front door and nothing was on the floor below. I opened the door and found a monster USPS Priority mail box in between the storm door and front door.:eek:

Not the size I am used to getting and I was expecting nothing. As I picked it up, I immediately recognized that if was from "Elf headquarters", located in North Carolina.

Well - I could not quite believe my eyes, as I took to opening the BIG box and began to find multiple items inside that BIG box. It seemed like Christmas morning in September.: :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

As one can see, a new large fish fillet knife - for all my BIG fish catches - how could she know that I am always fussing, down at the marina, that my fillet knife is too small for my fish??

Next - the Reds book - which I do plan to read from cover to cover. I have been a Reds fan since I was a little kid, even before I got my Primble nick-name!!

Next - a UK catnip pillow - for my two cats. I seemed to remember mentioning them a time or two. Where can you find anything from UK in North Carolina?

a closeup of that wicked knife blade, a beautifully written thank you card, and a very "special coin":

Notice anything that matches - like the key fob and the previously gifted wallet??
I like the look with my Coffin Jack.

and a close up of my coin - that sure raises the bar for a coin for a gifted knife !!!:eek:
and did she know or how could she know that 2001 was a very special year in my life!!??

After the box was empty - I proceeded to go for my walk, with the new key fob inside my pocket. It was hard not to wonder about this "Blade Forums Community" and my past always makes me want to investigate further. In my head, I was drawing lines from Kentucky to North Carolina, then to Alabama, back to Michigan, on to Washington State, then to British Columbia, then to England, on to New Zealand, and back to Kentucky. Maybe I could connect the dots and figure all of this out!:D

Maybe when I get all the dots connected, there will be an image that makes it crystal clear to me.:eek::thumbup::D

I now wonder if I am not on to something with this Santa, elves, and such. I will continue to work on solving the mystery of such extreme generosity!

Thank you so much Jennifer, my friend !!:thumbup::)

Primble

You might want to take a trip to the North Pole too! That is where Santa lives. :D

Good on you Jennfer, very nice gifts and well deserved.

I see what you did there Primble with the "slam dunk win" and "big fish"......I will give you free fishing lessons if you come up to Michigan and free ice for your shoulder after you get done. :D

Primble,
I'm so glad your package arrived safely. It was a lot of fun to put it together last week while I waited on my new toy/treasure. This forum has a lot to be proud of, a lot to brag about, and a lot of wonderful people. You are among the best of those. I cannot thank you enough for your friendship and love of knives. Seeing your pics and enthusiasm for collecting is inspiring. I once heard a statement that describes you - "Do good things that will outlive you." You do good things and I'm pretty sure many years from now those good things will still be fresh in the minds of many.
Thanks again for everything.
Jennifer

I don't need fishing lessons Marko - I catch monster fish. Jennifer must be a believer, she sent me a HUGE fish fillet knife!!:D

Scroll back up there and take a look at the monster fillet knife!

But I did like the sound of free - twice!! :D

Hmmmm - I just now realized - I now owe JENNIFER a coin.:)

Catfish don't count Primble. I use that size knife for Bluegills and I have a FILLET knife for the Walleye.

No offense Jennifer, very nice Bluegill knife you gave to Primble.:D

Oh no, do I have to explain everything to you guys? The knife is not for the fish - it is to scare away the other fishermen from your favorite spot! Who is going to mess with you when you carry that?

At first it was color blindness and now you are having trouble judging size too??!!! Your poor eyes! I think you have been staring at that screen too long. Go fishing or something. That BIG fishing knife is over twelve inches long - I would like to see your bluegills and maybe you could borrow that big sword/knife from Evan for your walleyes??!!:D

You might want to get in touch with Forrest Gump and get into the Shrimp'n business!:barf::D

Come on Mark. You let that one go. Let's see one you kept. That little baby probably did miss his mommy.

Why would you have your picture made with it if you were not proud of it??

You raise a good point, my friend. I've got to say - here in the south, if you didn't get a pic or lose a limb, it never happened! Just saying - where's the pic if that big bad daddy fish and the knife (sword) you used to prepare him for dinner?

Now that's what legends are made of!

Well Said Jennifer! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Primble, to answer your question of WHY the photo was taken, you will have to ask ESPN Sports, they were filming me and taking the pictures of even the small ones!:D
