I'm not really sure what else to call this. This design has become a favorite of mine for EDC, though the size is probably prohibitive for most as an EDC. Here on the farm, it excels. No-nonsense, and tough as nails.
Specs:
Steel: 1080 from Kelly Cupples, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 57-58hrc
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 4.4" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand rubbed to 1000 grit. Forge scale flats.
Scales: Forest/OD G10 with Red G10 liners. Brass pins and lanyard hole. West Systems epoxy
OAL:9.25"
Lanyard-8 strand BCY B55 (red/black) bowstring. Held with copper wire wrap. Finally found a use for all the scraps from making Flemish bowstrings.
Not Pictured: Your choice of leather (color your choice as well), or kydex. Specify Right or Left side carry on leather sheaths. My kydex sheaths are modular and can be configured by the user.
Price: SPF shipped CONUS. I've never shipped international, but would be willing to do so, provided the buyer has some patience while I figure it out
If a customer receives a knife and is not satisfied, they may return the item to me for a full refund, including the return shipping. Knife must be returned in the condition received, with a postmark no more than 5 days after the date of delivery. In the event my knife fails due to material or workmanship, contact me directly.
