No homepage update in almost three years???

Sounds like he's pretty on the ball compared to some. The last catalog Bill Moran issued, I think, was in the mid 60's...or was it the early 70's???

As long as the contact info is current I don't have a problem with an old site.

A maker's knives should be continually improving. For this reason the maker should be continually putting pictures of his/her latest knives up their website. Though I don't mind seeing what a maker was doing three, two or one year ago, I would also like to see what they are doing now.

Keith, you put it exactly into the right words! This was my feeling before starting this thread.

I'd rather he put the time and effort into making new designs and keeping up with orders. Many of the custom dealers get those knives and put them online for us all to see. That's why some makers sell specifically to those dealers like BladeGallery, TNK, etc. Hell, Ken Steigerwalt just got a digital camera last year so he could send stuff to his regular customers. Trust me, the man does not have the time to start a website and update it regularly.

That is quite likely the case, but if you are going to have a website then update it. If you don't have the time then don't have a website in the first place.
