No Joke BB13 Ding

So whats the general feeling on the sheath for this Bad Boy ? Leather or Kydex ? Im usually all for leather, but them open spine Kydex look really good for this size blade ?
 
I'm leaning toward kydex for the sheer fact that I plan on abusing this knife to no end and leather doesn't clean up as easily. This knife will probably be put back dirty a lot. Also i think res c would look better with kydex instead of leather.

Sheath options are difficult for me as well with this blade. I too am a leather guy and really don't care for kydex that much....but the open spine is very tempting to me as well....seems to be a perfect fit. Although I do have some heavy-duty plastic mesh I could just wrap around it and weave paracord on the edges and I'd be good. Gunna be a hard-user for sure....with a "close as I can" mirror polish on it.....Can't wait!

So would most of you agree that Black blade color is easier to strip than others ?
