10 October purchase with paypal. Knife not received and unable to contact maker via email (4 times). What to do??

Have you just been trying email through the forum link? That method has been unreliable so the maker may not have received any emails if that's the case.

I reccomend sending a visitor message since you can't PM. Its unlikely a maker would burn their reputation by intentionally ignoring you.

Good luck resolving the issue.

If you list the maker's name, perhaps someone here knows them and can get ahold of them regarding your knife.

Was the knife already completed and ready to ship, or did you place an order for a knife to be made for you? Some popular makers are backlogged for months or years.

These threads are pretty much worthless when they are as vague as this. As Cougar Allen wrote:
Yup, that's all we need to know. No need to tell us what the problem is, we'll just throw a virgin goat into the volcano every day and after a hundred years the spirit of the volcano will appear to us in a dream and tell us all about it. Hope you're not in a hurry....

Or he could ask around privately, email a moderator or someone he knows. These threads live forever on the internet, and could make someone look bad unnecessarily. Assuming it's an honest mixup. If it's intentional, by all means, out him. And no, it's not me.

If its been 18 days with no knife and no communication, the seller should be identified - even if everything turns out okay in the end. Warning us against bad sellers, or even good sellers who are slackards, is one of the primary reasons GBU exists. Hope it works out for you.

Well, I don't come to the internets/forums to argue, so I'll just say that's a strong stance to take based on the facts/info I saw in the op. Either way, I hope for the best.
