#6 seems a bit steep considering it's from an unknown maker, don't you think? Not to mention one of the pieces of pearl are cracked...

There is actually plenty of proof markings on the blade to determine maker. I will just pull that one down for now and reevaluate it a bit and nail down its history a bit more.

If you can get a good picture of the tang stamp on #10 I would like to see it please. Also, condition of the handles; any cracks, checks, etc. Thank you.

Same questions for the Wm. Rodgers. Scale material also?

Here are some additional requested photos...

As far as materials and conditions, the best I can really do is provide pictures to show. I do not want to mislabel or misjudge anything.
Please follow this photobucket link for more pictures of #4 and #10 (ptradeco requested). I plan on borrowing a more "professional" camera to take better pictures, but that wont be until sometime mid week.

I do not see a link. In hand should be at least as good a check for cracks etc. as pictures. Not trying to derail your post just looking for a couple of answers. Thanks.

#5 - Function is good, some cosmetic issues (small ding on bottom bolster, also faint BW etched into top bolster). Unsure if stainless or carbon, but a magnet has a STRONG attraction to it.
