No love for simple carbon steels?

Everything I sell is 5160, 1084, or 4140 (for axes). Of course, I don't have the volume of sales that some folks do. :)

I think education of the customer is important. We may live and breathe edge grinds, alloy choice, and heat treatment, but that doesn't mean that they do. That's why I take the time on my website (such as it is) and in Youtube videos to explain why I build them the way I do. Demonstrate what your blades made of simple steel can do to the world and you should convince some folks.
 
Yeah... they snub your knives because they suck!

Edit: ...and because they're Canadian.

I see Luke's not the only one to hassle you about your Canadian knives sucking. Maybe they're onto something. ;)
