no more black handle knives GAW - contest over and winner announced - thanks

Hey ladies and gentleman, recently i swore off black handle knives, far too many in my bag-o-knives. To kick that off I am doing this GAW of a black handle knife.
This is one of the first knives i got when I started to amass knives.
The stash grew so quick that I didnt really ever use this little guy.
I might have carried it a few times, or taken it camping a couple times.
I might have cut a few things, I cant recall, but its still in like new condition if you ask me.
Its a Ka-Bar Dozier and i believe I even still have the box.

Rules are:
1. most have been a member for at least 30 days from this post.
2. must like knives.
3. must like using knives.
4. must like dogs.
5. you must reside in the lower 48 states (contiguous united states)
6. must be at least 18
7. must know your own local knife laws.

This GAW will run until I wake up for work on Monday November 12th, or around 8am MST.
I will make a post that says this GAW is closed, and then I will choose the winner by using RANDOM.ORG when i am home from work later Monday.
Your post number will be your entry number and you may only enter once.
The item will ship with USPS in one of those handy little perfect for a knife size boxes. I will ship on Tuesday or Wednesday.

To enter you need to post a picture of your favorite knife and you need to post a picture of your dog if you own one, and if you dont, then a pic of your favorite dog.

I Googled "GAW" and the Urban Dictionary listed the term as "swag" -- I always called it
"guy jewelry" . . .

I have lots of black handles, Buck for sure an others. These days I like stag and bone handles, and D2 steel. USA made is getting harder an harder to find.

Dogs: Jake across the way is an American Rottweiler. We're buddies. Roxie is a Pomeranian of another friend. They named her Roxie because she's "dumb as a box of rocks." (Actually she's not dumb at all. It's a ruse!)

It means "giveaway." He's giving the knife away for free in a lottery, which is quite generous!

:) Nice idea for a giveaway . I don't need the knife , but somebody surely does ! ;)

Many of my knives are older and came with black handles . There was no great selection back then . It seemed OK then and still is IMO .

But variety is spicy . I got some colors , too ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
 
I am MUCH older than 18. I wish to enter. I like fixed blades. Florida is my home. I LOVE dogs....(see my AVATAR). Thanks for the chance.

Very generous of you to offer this GAW morvlorv.

I am not entering since I feel that someone else may have a real need for this knife.
I do meet all of the criteria but decided to share pictures instead.
I don't know that this is my favorite knife but it does spend quite a bit of time in my pocket.
As for the dog, yep, she's my favorite.

I love dogs. Grew up with them, and haven't not had a dog in about 15 yrs.
Currently we have two black lab mixes that we rescued. The one in the picture below is our 11 yr old, "Momo." Probably the most purely sweet, snuggly dog I've ever encountered. She'll pick snuggles over food, if both are available options.
She and my son, Jake, are absolute best buddies.

Current favorite knife is a custom I recently got from KosaPL on the exchange. Denim micarta scales hooked onto a solid chunk of ELMAX. It's currently en route to @Makael for a one of his excellent custom leather sheaths that befits this knife. Sorry for crappy pic (and the D-fly photobomb). When it comes back from Mike with new sheath, and i get to really wear it and use it more, I'll post a review and better pics.
