Damn damn damn. I lost my engraved Delica. Loading a heavy satchel into the trunk and never noticed.
A short time later, I see this lil scratch on my arm and it's bleeding.
I get home and discover no more knife.
Then I match up the scratch with the position my CLIP would have been and PRESTO. Sudden realization.

I have an ad in the paper, but think it's the last I'll ever see of it.

I'm cryin over this one.

It has personalized initials, but...................

Carrying my old FRN Delica now.

INSIDE THE POCKET !!!!!

I feel your pain. I lost a Gold Pearl Kopa a couple years ago, most likely due to the clip getting caught on my seatbelt when exiting my car. Normally it wouldn't be a problem, but I was wearing thin slacks, which offer little to grip for the clip.

Hope God smiles on you, and your knife finds it's way home.

God, what a beautiful knife. I hope you manage to get it back somehow--I too have lost a treasure or two because of damnable pocket clips.

If I can't de-clip a knife for belt sheath carry I won't buy it.

Wow, that's a nice looking knife & a darn shame it's lost. Unfortunately, I'm guessing someone else is enjoying it right now, unless they all of a sudden get a conscience.

I admit I still haven't learned my lesson, I still pocket clip at least one of the knives I carry, but I understand more so, why people use belt sheaths.

Good luck, I sincerely hope you get it back.

DD, my clip ...constantly... caught on the seatbelt. But wasn't a problem as it always did it on unbuckling and I couldn't release the belt until freeing the hangup.
THIS was entirely new.
And now perfectly clear.
At least I got a wound out of it.

:(

What a beautiful knife.I'm sorry for your loss. When I'm wearing jeans (98%) I turn the knife around so clip goes in the little watch pocket otherwise it catches on everything. Those few times I wear slacks I carry a slippie in pocket.

Sorry for your loss, man. I almost never clip my knives, although in my case it's simply to be less conspicuous.

One reason I buy most of my slacks and khakis from Old Navy, GAP, or Banana Republic is because there's a small pocket inside the right front pocket. I'm not sure what the original purpose is, but it fits a folder nicely and prevents the knife from rotating into the horizontal position.

Sorry to hear, that's quite a beauty. If it doesn't end up back in your possession, I hope it at least ends up in the hands of a person who appreciates the treasure they stumbled upon.

I always admired it when you showed off that knife in threads.

Sorry for your loss and hope the knife turns up.

Man, that's a real shame. Hope it shows up.
Whenever something like this happens, I'm always reminded that the Chinese use the same word for crisis as opportunity.

Sorry for the loss, but welcome to the club.
That knife was too nice. I hope somehow it shows up.

I love clips. I have a drawer full of 'em :D.

Whoa... that's a painful loss. What a nice knife. :(

It's been a few years since I've regularly used pocket clips. Too much snagging, scraping, and scratching against stuff.

Man that loss makes MY heart ache.. Lets all hope that it finds itself on the Bay soon (at least there are "eyes" looking. I just cant see any other way that whoever found it can link it up to you.

Something tells me that knife is coming back to you (from my mouth to Gods ears)

Damn, that was a beauty. Like the others, somehow I hope it finds its way home to you.

I feel your pain. And share you distaste for clips, the first thing I do with a new knife is remove the clip (except on Lone Wolf Harsey folders, because they really look like part of the knife).

That truely sucks, man! :(

I lost an old Spyderco Police the same way. It was just a stock knife, but at the time it was the most expensive knife I ever owned so I was quite bummed when it disappeard from my pocket. :grumpy:

I have compasion for your loss.

Knives would not be nearly as fun without clips.
I carry mine IWB and have not lost one since.
