No more pocket clips for me.

It sucks to loose any knife, but one as nice as that makes it even worse. I too have had the clip get caught on seatbelts. What's worse, the knife was my waved minicqc7. it ended up half open with the wave tangled in my pocket while the clip was hooked to the seatbelt. I escaped without injury, but I did cuss quite a bit.
 
Man, that sucks! I have lost 2 stock spydercos, does not compare to what you must be going through. This last go around I decided to try and find something better that would work for me. I currently have a sheath on order from River City Sheaths for my new Military. I hope this will fix my problem. I am not carrying this new knife until I get that sheath.
 
dang that sucks! I sencerly hope you get it back soon and in perfect condition. the only knife I have ever lost from my pocket was a CS large clip voyager deffinatly not as pretty as your Delica.
 
Hoping here too. I have an ad in the paper that mentions the engraved initials of Bob Hawley and mine. We decided to sign it as we both worked on it.
That makes it worse, darn it.
But I have "REWARD" in the ad so...... maybe...

Back when I carried folders with clips,so many times,those clips would hang up on stuff & either get bent or rip my pocket,or pull the knife out un expectedly.
Now I mostly carry slipjoint & lockback folders ,no clips,in my pocket.Sorry you lost that gorgeous knife

last time I "lost" something, It was about two pretty girls. I had one covered ,as hard and deep as I could, while the other managed to lift $12,000. I kick myself to this day.Now I make the second c-unt watch! lol

I lost a Delica down an elevator shaft. I was loading a steel cart full of books onto the elevator when the clip (old zytel one piece) grabbed the cart and pulled the knife out of my pocket. It was a one in a million chance that it went straight through the 2 inch crack between the elevator and floor and it was gone.
 
That's very unfortunate. I hope you find your baby, losing a knife is like losing a child. I would be crushed if I lost any knives, let alone one that was engraved.
 
Wow! I feel for you, Last week I lost a knife too ( a slippie that slipped out), but it was not even close to that beauty. I sometimes carry a WH damascus in the sheath with a clip but after reading this post I'll just keep it all the way in the pocket.
 
I'd be feeling sick if I lost a knife like that. The only thing that has stopped me losing my knife is my OCD-like need to check wallet-keys-phone-knife every time I get out of a car, sit down, stand up and do something wierd. Hopefully you'll find it.
 
i know how you feel i stopped using pocket clips after i lost a surefire e2d flashlight, it really sucks when this happens
