How about a Lower Gorge whitewater trip during the Orionid Meteor Shower? Burried 5,000 feet deep in a canyon 70 miles away from the nearest civilization... I need to check on the moon phase but I'm pretty sure this late season run will sure be fun. I scheduled all my school classes on Tues, Weds and Thurs so as I can do a five day trip and only miss one class.

Lesson Learned:

Be careful what you wish for, or in this case ask about because it can cause mental trauma and lots of nights waking from nightmares.

One in particular was an avid ATV'er, he was riding, and of course fell off of said vehicle with knife in pocket in flimsy sheath. I dont know weather it was luck or unfortunate, he votes both, but the knife butt ended up breaking two floating ribs. The other end, well, found a leg bone to butt up against instead of the aforementioned important bits including a huge artery. Well built sheaths are a good thing, expensive, but a good thing.

Amen...... We never see 12% humidity around here.... in the summer it is like a sauna most of the time.

An extremely wrong stereotype of Idaho is that we have no good looking women. In fact there's a higher percentage of them here than anywhere else I've lived, including San Antonio, and that's saying ALOT. Boise being a very active town, most people are in at least healthy shape, and there are so many rock climbers, swimmers, kayakers, mountain bikers, road bikers, backpackers etc (including women, I should add) that most local girls could kick the ass of just about any city slickin' guy I know. Not to mention BSU is right downtown, lots of college girls too Don't get me started on the rural girls-the ones that grew up on horse ranches, farms etc. They're built like brick shithouses and can hold their liquor better than most Wisconsinite guys I know Not only are they good looking and in shape, but they have a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors.
