I called CRK this morning to change one of my damscus orders to a spirograph. Originally I ordered a large spirogrph and a small raindrop. I'm tired and bored of the raindrop. Well, I have sad new. Apparently there is an issue with the etching proccess of the spirograph, and CRK, more than likelly, will discontinuue it.
I'm very sad to hear this and feel that it is the nicest of the damascus produced anymore.

I hope they take on new styles like the herring bone? I think that's what its called.

Devin Thomas has some really cool designs.

Hint hint Crk.

My local knife guy said that he talked to Chris and was told they were probably going to get rid of spirograph and introduce a new different pattern of damascus. So there is hope for something new for you guys to get ahold of.

IMO, it's not my favorite. There seems to be a few other ones that look real good....ie-the "vines and roses"

Vines & Roses will not be made. I asked for it today and I was given a definite No.

Bummer on the Spirograph, I liked it. I do, however, look forward to something new. Plus 1 on limited/new styled damascus on a Sebenza blade as well.

Now that is bad news.
There are however very nice patterns made by Devin Thomas.
IIRC I've seen some nice "Bubble Wrap".

Just received the last large sebenza 21 with spirograph and gabon ebony inlays today. It is beautiful! I hope they make them again once they get the etching problem figured out.

Hands down the most beautiful and unique design was the River Of Fire. Why they do not produce this blade anymore is beyond me.

That's like Leonardo da Vinci complaining that it took him over 3 weeks to paint the Mona Lisa or Last Supper and therefore will forgo any further endeavors. Hence, three days is of no consequence when creating timeless masterpieces.
