Well after a complete reconstruction of my shattered right pelvis a little over 10 weeks ago, I was able to start walking again today. I'm a bit stumbly and have a limp, but happy to trade in the wheelchair and walker for a cane. However the doctor said I'll need to a full hip replacement before the end of the year. I know I have a long way to go physically, but this is a great start.

SUCH GREAT NEWS BOB!!!! You got this bro! Good to see that big smile on your face. :D

Congrats on the progress. Is your cane really one of those stealth swords? ;)

Congratulations on the great progress Bob! It must have been all the beers and stimulating conversation in the Pit at Blade that helped you turn the corner. It was fun to hang out with you there.

Wishing you all the best in your continued recovery.

Phil

Congratulations to you, your family and medical staff for a successful recovery!!!

I just traded in my walker for a cane. Now I need a top hat. Pain wise, up until this point its only been my wrist, but damn my hip joint hurts now that I'm walking.
