No more wheelchair

Well after a complete reconstruction of my shattered right pelvis a little over 10 weeks ago, I was able to start walking again today. I'm a bit stumbly and have a limp, but happy to trade in the wheelchair and walker for a cane. However the doctor said I'll need to a full hip replacement before the end of the year. I know I have a long way to go physically, but this is a great start.

LOL Bill. Actually riding my "new" dirt bike, but slowly and start working out and swimming. This is to get rid of my waist and man boobs.

That's great news! You'll likely recover much faster from the hip replacement than the crash. I hear they are great these days.

I just traded in my walker for a cane. Now I need a top hat. Pain wise, up until this point its only been my wrist, but damn my hip joint hurts now that I'm walking.
