Our cat Sophie developed pneumonia 4 weeks ago. Vet prescribed prednisone and that trigger diabetes. So prescription food (a scam IMO) and I inject insulin twice a day. Diabetes getting worse. And she spends all day at the vet once a week to getting hourly blood tests. Expenses are through the roof.

So I completely empathize.

Our cat Sophie developed pneumonia 4 weeks ago. Vet prescribed prednisone and that trigger diabetes. So prescription food (a scam IMO) and I inject insulin twice a day. Diabetes getting worse. And she spends all day at the vet once a week to getting hourly blood tests. Expenses are through the roof.

Sometimes Douglas just likes chicken broth. I cook thighs in the slow cooker without water and freeze the juice in an ice cube tray, that way I can thaw as much as I need.
