I hope Sophie recovers soon. Douglas is stable now, but his appetite is still poor. I've been cooking chicken and roast beef for him, just to get him to eat.Our cat Sophie developed pneumonia 4 weeks ago. Vet prescribed prednisone and that trigger diabetes. So prescription food (a scam IMO) and I inject insulin twice a day. Diabetes getting worse. And she spends all day at the vet once a week to getting hourly blood tests. Expenses are through the roof.
So I completely empathize.

Thank you so much. Her appetite is not good either, so the wife puts baby food on her finger and feeds her.I hope Sophie recovers soon. Douglas is stable now, but his appetite is still poor. I've been cooking chicken and roast beef for him, just to get him to eat.
Sometimes Douglas just likes chicken broth. I cook thighs in the slow cooker without water and freeze the juice in an ice cube tray, that way I can thaw as much as I need.Thank you so much. Her appetite is not good either, so the wife puts baby food on her finger and feeds her.
Sending smoke and scritches for Sophie. I hope you get to enjoy each other's presence for a long time yet.Our cat Sophie developed pneumonia 4 weeks ago.
