I just saw this thread and I'm calling BULLSHIT. PRETTY IMMATURE TO STAGE A PHOTO AND THEN FABRICATE A B.S. STORY ALONG WITH IT. Why don't you find a better use of your time.

This guy actually made a valid point. Not that I doubt the OP but a Military opened in a pocket while still clipped AND pocked through the cloth precisely like displayed in the picture seems to me a VERY low probability event. If the detent is reasonably tight, the millie should not open accidently in the pocket (a knife with a flipper tap and tip down carried would more likely open). Even if it did, the cut would be normally larger than that. That almost looks like someone hold the blade in half opened position and pock it through the pocket. But again, low probability thing do happen.

Calling my honesty and credibility into question is not a "valid point."

I will agree that it was a low probability event to occur. So strange and low probability an event, in fact, that it warranted a photograph.

You are right. My poor choice of words (but I did proceed to say that I do not doubt you)

I won't call the OP's integrity into question here.

I have been following this thread from the start. Just want to state that I have carried my Military for three years either IWB or RFP at a very physical job. Part of a three man crew on a 31,000 pound Hydrasplit stone splitter.

Bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, throwing, forcing granite slabs into place. As well as crawling under, climbing, stretching, contorting to complete repairs to my machine. Not once has my Military opened in pocket or waistband, either in jeans or loose cargo shorts.

The OP's event was a one-in-a-million freak accident IMHO.

Anything can happen, that's a fact.
The Millie has been in production for over 20 years! I've never had an issue. If there was a problem Sal would solve it, check out the hook... Nevermind
