Beautiful knife. Not something I have any experience with, but the guard seems a little short. It doesn't project far out from the bottom of the blade. Did I see an earlier poster refer to that as the quillon? I agree, it looks great, but I'm not sure it would really be functional.

Very nice Will - the guard to blade fit looks tighter than a frog's ass. I like the single guard on this model, but if I were to make a spec knife, it'd sell faster with a double guard. What is the blade width at the ricasso? The rounded ricasso is nicely done also.:thumbup:
