NO-NOs, when you twirl a khukuri

:
BEarDS?!?!?!?

That leaves me out, but then I can't twirl a khukuri, or anything else for that matter.

That's okay, it leaves me out too. Maybe long hair can count instead.

Sorry, didn't mean to be exclusionary. I retract the part about the beards, and Novadak, you can be out in front as lead choreagrapher.

Well if long hair qualifies then I can handle that.

This was taken about 5 years ago.
And my hair now reaches more than half way down my back, Barb's is longer now as well.
Just got to thinking that it's also a bit greyer now too. It's not the age, it's the miles!!!

Bro I think it's a universal truth, but don't mention it to loud or the yonegis will want to claim that too.

However I hear more old ndns saying it than anyone else.

And Seax I am with my Bro and will just watch.
It kinda reminds me of all them Brit soldiers in them thar Bright Red Uniforms standing at attention with them thar Musket Barrel's tucked under their chins.

Miles? I live in metric world. But "miles" sounds better than "kilometers."

I come to wonder if I'm the only one to twirl a khukuri on one finger, circling inside arm. Everybody seems to know more sophisticated way to twirl a khukuri. Well, I'm learning here on this forum. Soon I'm no longer a wrong friend!

Yvsa:

Well, I had something else in mind, something quite different from parade ground drills. What I see in my minds eye is more like a group of people, dancing with sweeping footwork to the steady beat of a drum, while singing some old Gurkha tune. All while they twirl, slash, and brandish their Khukuris.

Perhaps with the setting sun, gleaming on brightly polished steel.

Walk on.

Seax it sounds pretty and I might give my cane or stick a twirl or two, heck, I might even wiggle my booty a little if I was up to it, but I'm still gonna leave the twirling sharp stuff to the younger guys.

At my age and miles I've given up all I'm willing to give up and everything I have left is precious to me, and all it would take is one tiny slip..............one very tiny little bitty eensie meensie slip.
