No Regrets......except sometimes

I know our motto is No Regrets, but honestly I do have some regrets, mostly regrets that I didn't buy something when I had a chance. Do any of you have those, or maybe a regret that you sold something you wish you hadn't (like 2 LE SHBM's :foot:)

I have Regrets, mostly that I didn't buy something when I had a chance and here it is below (esp. the bottom one but all of them if I could've)

Those are some great looking blades. I'd love to have a single custom fighter variant!
 
They all look similar to the Blue Grass Bowie to me....

I never had the chance to get that one, but if I did.... That is my Busse regret blade, the Blue Grass Bowie. And I'm pretty sure the bully who has it isn't letting go of it anytime soon ;)

I also regret not snagging an AK when they were in the company store for so long. I'd look at them daily, I just never had the coin. Oh, and the RUCK, man I regret not buying one of those.

My top three:

3. AK

I'm going to go look at my knives now...

man eric, those are really neat, yea i have some definite regrets for knives that i have missed, and one of those is not becoming involved in busse knives before i did, just did not know about them!!!
thanks to bladeforums that became possible.

i can understand regrets on any of the above knives!!!

The main one I sort of regret selling is my first one, a CG FSH, Blk/Blk Micarta. The main reason I sold it was it had standard handles and I wanted Mags, and more INFI of course. It seemed like a good idea at the time. :rolleyes:

But by far the biggest regret I have is whenever I open this to take a look at what could have been. I don't know the exact year I sent for this, but I didn't buy my first Busse until 2005. So much missed time...:(

I've got plenty of regrets on blades I didn't buy when I had the chance.
Of course, there is the CS BA-E that Stomper snagged out from under me at the Chicago Custom Show. Numerous offerings at Blade 2002 that I didn't have the coin for and now wish I'd just gone and charged them to the CC and said "No Regrets!". Not buying the full PBF set (both wrapped and unwrapped) when Jerry made the initial email offering.

But my biggest regret is not meeting Amy-0 before she got married!!!! Maybe if I'd have taken Jerry up on that job offer.......:( :confused:

Thankfully I don't have all those regrets that Hammy has listed above because I've never sold a single one of my Busses. I traded the original MOAB and that gave me short term regrets until I was able to bring her back home. Since then I've vowed that I'll sell everything else I own before another Busse go up on the block......unless it's the chopping block, and then I'm going to wail away!!! :D :D

to my knowledge jerry hasn't ever given out a chunk of infi to another maker to make a knife out of, let alone that makers own proprietary design. Thin hollow ground edge, nicer ergo's, pointy tip. and a choil :mad:

otherwise I would have snagged it in a heart beat :thumbup:
 
Regrets: NOT Buying an American Kensei when they were first offered due to the "whopping" $500 pricetag

Selling Three of my steel heart II's in the $260 range when they were first out

When I first got back into Busse before the release of the ASH1, I traded my old solid bolt Badger attack and mean street to two HOFSHs, now I realize the HOFSHs can be had while old school can not "without paying dearly"

Not having shaken the Man's hand yet
 
i regret not selling more blood for money, so i could buy a snake skin pork belly skinner. also not buying a steel heart and badger attack at a gun show about ten year's ago.
