I bought those from Dennis and I'm appreciating them for the both of us. :D
 
Only one I regret when it was available and I had the money and that was when the factory was running the CGFBM. So I had to buy one at secondary market prices. But don't regret it a bit.

Others I regret that were available (and still show up from time to time), but I never have the money when they come up are:
1.) The Nuclear HellRazors that float around from time to time
2.) The Zilla prototype. Even now when some are on the X, it's when they cut our hours back at work, so i can't save much.
 
I seriously regret not getting a complete set of Ergo's in satin and snakeskin when I had the chance. There was a time when you could order all of them in that configuration at the same time. Ah, the good old days.

I've only sold a few and they were doubles so I'm not to torn up there.

As for not buying I have two, The first is one that :eek: me at Blade, I don't remember the year now. Jerry saw my eyes glazing over and said I could buy one but couldn't talk about it, sell it, picture it, etc. and I didn't do it, pure foolishness on my part :o can't even remember what it looks like or what it was called anymore.:(

The second was the SFNO again at Blade when they were released didn't buy one of course.:grumpy: When I decided to pull the trigger on one I about soiled myself when I saw what the originals were going for. Then the flat grinds started popping up but I'm a saber type of guy.:)

Fast forward to Blade last summer, I feel a strange pull from the INFI Gods and I work my way to the front of the table, look down and there are two satin saber ground SFNO's sitting right in front of me. There I was one in each hand :D I could of almost went home feeling complete at that moment. I set one down and it was gone in a snap. The other one I sat down in my pack when I finished the paper work.:D

I regret posting an ill take it via email instead of in the thread for a $410 Unused SAR8 w/ blk/tan. No more stealth attempts for me.

I had a chance to buy a Piano Key at Blade several years ago for 200.00.
I could kick myself everytime I think about it.That was one classy looking knife.
Another is the white bone dagger at Blade last year.

You gotta understand, Blade 09 was the first time I held INFI, let alone owned it. The zilla was crazy impressive and blew me away and I just had to have it. I took it home and chopped with it as soon as I could.

And realized it wasn't for me. So not only did I spend WAY MORE MONEY than I had on this knife, but now I knew it was too heavy for me to make it a user, which meant I was probably going to have to sell it, and probably even at a loss. But worse yet, I signed a contract saying I wouldn't sell it for six months. So here I was, stuck with a blade that I didn't want to use any more, for fear of further degrading its resale value, but unable to sell it.

Hey Mustard Man - my regret was not buying your KZ when it was up on the exchange. I hemmed and hawed over it for two weeks. Finally decided to go for it but wasn't 100% confident so I delayed for a few days. When I went for it, it was gone.:eek: Man, those pics tormented me.:confused:

I figured I wasn't meant to have a KZ prototype after that though I still thought about it. Then this post came up. After reading everyone's stories I promptly went to the exchange and picked up a different KZ prototype.:D

Regrets are just one form of personal demons. I need less of those.

Thanks to everyone for sharing. Y'all helped me avoid a potential bad case of regrets.

Now I just have to wait for the KZ to arrive!:thumbup:
