A while back Lady Colt had one of the passarounds and I did get it eventually, but she ignored my email and took her time getting it to me.

This time she has the Spyderco Navigator passaround, it's over due and she again hasn't responded to my email. It could have gotten lost of misdelivered, but since she doesn't respond to email I don't know.

This is the second time I've had trouble and it will be the LAST time I ever deal with her.

If anyone wnats her name and address to avoid dealing with her, email me.

(Also I see she's posted to several threads so I know she's around)

Thanks,

Last post 4-30. I notice she has a msn email address in her profile; it's possible she doesn't use that account any more. Sometimes people stop using a web-based account and don't think to update their profile here.

Does anybody know another way to get in touch with her?

I thought she hangs out on the AR15 board, but maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

Cougar;

MSN isn't a web based email address like Hotmail, Yahoo, ect.

I have a MSN email address, and MSN is my ISP as well.

if she has a MSN email address, then that is also her ISP.

That is most likely the case, however it is possible to have an MSN address with it being your ISP. I signed up for a free 3 month trial when I was of the mind set that Cable service was to expensive. After one week I realized it was worth the extra cash and now I still access my MSN e-mail address through hotmail.

Just a note still no contact, I'll send a letter.

If anyone notices LadyColt (Pauline Garret) somewhere I'd appreciate a word.

Also does anyone know what company she is affiliated with that claims to have bought stuff from botach, or the website firearmsboard?

Thanks,

uh, naw, the next person was me.

It's funny I went back a read a bunch of her posts and she talks about how her daddy raised her right blah, blah, blah... :barf:

For those following along, I got a hold of Pauline by the phone and she says she's been away since 4-22. She's is checking as someone else was supposed to send it.

Just another update, during the phone conversation she was to let me know via email the status of the knife she was supposed to send. I didn't hear from her.

It's clear to me this person does not honor their word or keep their promises.

I tried calling agian, no answer/busy.

Still no reply, her phone always rings continously or is busy.

Update: received email that knife has been located and will be sent back to me.

Supposedly LC was going to send me the knife back now that she found it. Guess what, no knife.

I guess I'm not surprised.

I've been following the Lady Colt situation and delaying because I figured there was no hurry to ban her (she hasn't been posting) and I wanted to give her ample opportunity to explain -- but enough is enough. Although I don't see a clear intention to steal the passaround knife, as far as I can tell she just doesn't care very much about keeping her word. We don't want people like that at Bladeforums.

Lady Colt is banned. If she has any explanation she can still email me or Spark.

OK, late this afternoon the knife arrived back and it is in fine shape.

I will say thought that it probably should have been sent with delivery conformation just so there was no question it was sent.

I was sad to see LadyColt banned - especially since Dave did get the knife back. Bad stuff happens to everybody, I guess.

perhaps what went around finally caught up?

The quickest and most effective way to recieve your stuff or money back is, FILE MAIL FRAUD with the post office, you can do this dirctly thru their website and it works I've had to file in the past 3 times, and all 3 situations where similiar to yours. the sellers stalled shipment/ refund, even 1 refused to refund for a wrong part, after arguing back and forth. I claimed mail fraud, and if you file like I did, you'll find that the seller will suddenly experience an epiphany and sends your stuff. I got my stuff/refunds within a period of 10-14 days after filing my claim.

DaveH - you're a trusting guy. Keep it up.

I still want to hear some kind of explanation from her before I even consider asking Spark to reinstate her. I might go for "I screwed up, I admit it and I won't do it again" ...
