aliloff...if you ever just need to send Smoke, *I* can always use a bit.

I'll keep you in mind next time i send some out. It seems to help me sleep with a clearer soul and I tend to wake up with a different light on life.

I'd say that you have the process down then...thanks for contributing to folks in a positive way.

Yep, my Uwinv, (Nephew) Nasty knows well because I taught him here at my place in ceremony.  :)
And I was the one who got the word/phrase started here long ago because in the ndn way smoke from our sacred plants carries our prayers to the Great Mystery and Grandfather.
After I started saying, "Smoke sent." or however I basically said it it wasn't long before Uncle Bill joined in. Uncle Bill also had Cherokee Blood and we had that kinship. The old ndn ways and Buddhism have quite a bit in common although our ceremonies are done in different ways much of our accoutrements are similar or the same.
And after Uncle Bill started saying it then most everybody started joining in. A few folks emailed me and asked what was proper to make smoke to send in the ndn way and I told them what and where to buy and/or what and how to gather and dry if the plants grew in their area's.
Barbie and I found some great little cast iron skillets maybe 5"-6" across that would be an excellent smoke burning accoutrement for a buck apiece!!!!   :D
Probably not worth a flip fer fryin eggs in though.;) :o
