I ordred a Spyderco Lava yesterday. The Lava is a CLB design and looks to be a little larger than the Subcom. Anyway, the Lava has been discontinued by Spyderco and rather than kick myself later, I pulled the trigger. My wife can kick me now.

Given how Spyderco is fond of sprint runs, and how the fans clamor for certain pieces, I'd like to think there's always a chance the Lava could return somewhere down the road. If Sete Gibernau can come back to MotoGP then so can the Lava.

I'd love to see it come back in G-10. I'm considering picking another up to have it done custom.

Too bad, really. If people would hold them, I am sure it would change a lot of minds.
