I finally found a reason to love the solid ZDP knives over the laminates. My Delica 4 takes a very nice patina. I found it out by accident when my wife needed to cut up her meal in a picnic, and the tomato/vinegar/spicy sauce was on it for a half an hour, gave it a real nice look. I might just have to dip the entire blade to give it that "look".

Don't own any non-laminated ZDP myself but I don't know that I could ever love it more than my laminated ZDP blades.

Sodak, I just have to ask, how'd you come by your handle? Forgive me if I've asked you this before as I just can't remember.

I'll reserve judgement for when you post pics. :D
