I'm thinking about putting a little non-slip tape on the sides of a Spyderco Delica II. I have some 3M stair tread tape, but it feels more like sandpaper. I would like to use something with a rubbery texture instead of sandpaper-like. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Check around your area...ACE usually carries an adhesive backed grip tape like your looking for, I remember getting some at Home Depot, and an Orchard Supply, usually in either 1 inch or 4 inch widths...unfortunately, I've only seen it in a grey color. I used to back my aluminum clipboards with it, so they wouldn't ding stuff, or slide around...good luck, I used the standard (sandpaper) grip tape on my paragon auto, and it works great (but it doesn't have a pocket clip, so is carried in a sheath). You can even get artsy with the design for your grip.

Thanks - I'll look around. The 3M tape I have, I use on some handgun grips. It's more "sandpapery" than I would like for something to keep inside my pocket. Maybe Ace has some other options.

PM me and I'll mail you some.

The 3M can be used. I suggest put it on, then rub off some metal on it, it gets less coarse. The one on my Enlan EL02 has worn out smooth, yet grippy ;).
