Non-tanto large foldering tactical knife for under $100

Look at the Meyerco Catch Dog plain edge and the CS Hold Out II and III. Very well made folders. I own all 3 and prefer the Hold Out II for edc/s.d. if it comes down to that. All 3 folders you can't go wrong and I even like the CS Hold Out III too and for a small knife the grip/handle area is excellent and it weighs next to nothing. keepem sharp

PS if it came down to a choice of owning just one it would be the CS H.O. II, just superb ergo's for me and the blade is just wicked.

What do you like and want besides a large size? Is 3 1/2" - 4" blade large enough? What don't you like about tanto styled blade shapes? Besides a spear-point/dagger style, a tanto, hawkbill, or wharncliffe are very ideal for a defense folder and it's slim pickin's for an affordable, quality, large folding knife with hawkbill or wharncliffe shaped blades.

A Vaquero Voyager would be good if actually available.

Well for $106 you can get a Benchmade Nitrous Stryker and I love mine :). For close to $100 you can get a ZT 0350 too if you can find one

The CRKT M21-04 would be a very good one to get...I EDC one of 'em.

The Benchmade 710 and the Spyderco Military usually go for right at $100 on the exchange. Also the Kershaw Groove is a fantastic knife

Thanks guys I would get a zt 350 but they are too expensive the kershaw grove looks nice and the benchmade onslaught is b.a.

for about 37 dollars you could try a gerber icon drop point. gerber got it right with this model

The Kershaw R.A.M. for around $55 is nice. I think it would be well worth it to save up the little extra for the ZT0350 though.

That new Cold Steel Hold Out II looks promising. Aus-8 flat grind 4" blade with the "indestructible" Triad lock.
Also the BM Barrage is a good knife.

Spyderco Endura, can also be had with the Wave feature.

Thanks guys I would get a zt 350 but they are too expensive the kershaw grove looks nice and the benchmade onslaught is b.a.

I've got both of these & they are both Awsome...I do favor the Spyderco a little more ! I think for the money it would be hard to beat a Spyderco Endura 4 Waved. A few more worth looking at -
