Non-Threatening Knives? or What Designs Can Anyone Love?

Actually, I do work in an office now, and as of 3 years ago have a female coworker. (She's the first woman to work here in like 35 or 40 years.) She doesn't seem to have any problem with the big bowie keep around, or the bigger hunting knives folks ask me to sharpen. :) But as I said, my experience in this regard is very limited.
