Here's a thread for anybody that wants to show their blacked out blades. :thumbup::thumbup:

I've gone back and forth on this and used to avoid coatings, but on some knives the low profile of a non-shiny knife sticking out of pocket is preferable to me. Plus, the way they look after some wear on the coating is sweet.

Zuchus, I've never seen a Dark Star; it would be cool to see more contemporary designs with the inlay/cutout handle designs.

Thanks Jazub; I have the regular sized Roadie too, but uncoated--get blade. On the super, the handle is considerably bigger; the blade is longer too, but the real difference has to do with the grip. Both Roadies are my favorite Emersons. Great looking blades guys!
