Great looking show and inspired pieces. I hope I'm attributing this correctly, but the display of Raphael Calu showing the marquetry blocks in an unfinished state in contrast with the finished product is really neat.

Thank you for posting, there are some really fine pieces on display! I particularly note the French predilection for various Damascus/San Mai/“artisan” steels. Not that we don’t have it in the US but it doesn’t get used a lot in traditional style knives on this side of the pond.
