Another thing to try is a drop of TriFlow on the pivot. I don't see much talk about TriFlow here but it is my go-to pivot slickener, especially on new knives. Much lighter and slicker than light oils like gun oil, mineral oil, or sewing machine oil.
I love triflow, haven't seen it mentioned since my years on paintball forums (really the best lube for paintball markers FYI despite what the young ones think these days) I agree it works wonders on knife pivots, gold cup oil is also a solid performer and more readily available at paintball shops, I haven't seen triflow on a shelf in a while.
I have a delica 4 lock back that is quite flickable, less so now that i used it to open 20 concrete bags though (washers are shot, need polishing) I'm pretty sure cutlery lover has a good video on youtube about flicking that'll help you.
