There are some other leather makers around as well that are good. But Pugs as a "regular" (regular as in around here often not as in normal like so few of us are) gets my vote for making seriously top quality stuff.

What a combo here, I love how the handles crisscrossing is accentuated by the sheath, is the IBBB available as regular stock from HI or was that a custom order?
 
IBBB or micro mini AK bowie was made for bawanna I think, but several were made at the time, and several of us picked up one, just like the padam suga knives--- that is what is so unique and great about HI, sometimes things come around and just are not around for a looooong time-- the micro mini was incredibly popular though, so I would expect it again-- just ask auntie if she has any in stock, and she may be able to help you out!

the hatch work on the grip and the beaver tail sheath were courtesy of forum members, pugs makes the leather and sells his labor for a fair price.
 
Hey Obvious. No worries about getting some leather around your favorite blade and If you like the checkering on Shavrus Bowie then we have a friend here that can do that too. Bawanna is a forumite here and is a very talented checkererrer.er..r Dont know how checkered his past is but his future sure is;) Basically if theres anything we can help you with all you got to do is dream it up then ask and most likely one of the craftsman here can fix you up. Sharpening services, repairs or just general knife questions etc. Its all here and many of the craftsmen here barter for blades guns ammo services or whatever. Glad you came by! Enjoy your stay!
 
Well thank you all for swelling my head up, I about fell over :D. Really thank you all for the kind compliments. Welcome to HI and hopefully your khuk come quickly. As for some new leather, heck that's easy we can fix you right up, and Bawanna is a magician with checkering and all other fine things.

EMS Ulua:thumbup: No worries man! Pugs is the greatest! I was a complete dummy trying to get that one made and he worked with me and we got it done and we had fun doing it! Ive had a few more done since and even learned a few things about the process! As far as $ he is totally reasonable. We did some bartering so I cant say but i dont think youll get a better deal anywhere.

I am glad you like my lovely IBBB. It's skip pattern checkering done as mentioned by Bawanna is incredible and I agree when I saw them I just knew the beaver tail sheath was going to enhance the whole package perfectly. But when it came in the box, I absolutely was blown away to hold it that first time. As Gehazi mentioned the IBBB was made in a limited run first with a smaller handle. Then there was a second limited run with a slightly longer handle. Mine is one of the later versions. I think there is a lot of people hoping there is a new run coming someday.
 
he is a good one for it, never heard anyone complain. I just shipped him a few more, and plan on having him do at least 3 more ( that I know of) it definitely adds value for me.
