NOOB Question

Just out to help a fellow RAT Decide which blade suits him best and as it stands the sheathing on the RC3 & 4 work great for the Molle loops and go !!! better to post a picture than to try and tell ya about it .....:)

One nice thing is that with the RC-4 with the Molle Back option, you get all of the above ways to carry it!

Speaking of new products (i.e. the neck knife), I'm very interested in the future RAT folder. I've been carrying an A.G. Russell One Hand Knife for 20 years. It's been a good one, but the lock will now fail every time if rapped on the blade spine. So I've been looking around at my choices for an EDC folder also. I'll put in my plug here, for what it's worth, for a design that's truly ambidextrous, as I am one of the 10% +/- who is "wrong-handed". Keep us lefties in mind if possible!

Scott,
Why not send your one hand knife back so we can rework the lock and make it work as good as ever?

A. G.

That is a nice offer. But then again, Mr. Russell is a class act. I'll probably have to take him up on that. I bought the One Hand Knife from him when they first came out. It's a really unique design-all stainless that opens AND unlocks and closes easily with one hand. It has been a great cutting tool and companion for a long time. He's sold a bunch of them, but I've personally never met anyone else with one.

I had a big long message typed out, then deleted it. You sound like you know what you want and just want me to tell you you're right, which you are.

I'd go RC-4!

scottf If I had a knife that I carried for 20+ yrs I wouldn't want to give it up. Sounds to me like you have a long and trusting friend there. Not to say you couldn't buy it a friend.
